SWP is a dynamic and forward-looking law firm comprising three Indonesian-qualified lawyers, supported by a team of experienced paralegal professionals. We have established a strong reputation in providing market entry support services for Japanese companies expanding into Indonesia, with particular strengths in HR advisory and M&A advisory services.
Based at Wisma KEIAI in Jakarta’s central business district, we operate at the heart of a vibrant Japanese business community, where The Jakarta Japan Club is also located within the same premises. Approximately 90% of our client base consists of Japanese companies, reflecting our deep market understanding and the trust we have built within this segment.
Our joining of the SUN Group represents more than a conventional strategic alliance; it marks a meaningful integration into a regional professional network. This development enhances our capability to deliver a comprehensive suite of legal and M&A services, while also strengthening SUN Group’s presence in Indonesia.
The agreement was formally signed in Jakarta, Indonesia, on March 13, 2026, by Yoshiyuki Kambayashi, Founder & CEO of Likearisingsun Sdn. Bhd., and Saka Wibisono, Managing Partner of Saka Wibisono & Partners.
Through this collaboration, SWP will serve as SUN Group’s in-country office in Indonesia, providing jurisdiction-specific legal and execution support for Japanese companies undertaking business establishment, expansion, and operational activities in the country.
This arrangement enables both organizations to more effectively coordinate their expertise in supporting Japanese clients across Malaysia and Indonesia, delivering seamless and integrated cross-border solutions.
